Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the website of Speaks Imagery. By accessing or using our website (www.speaksimagery.com), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services. 

1. Services Provided

Speaks Imagery provided professional cinematography and video production services. All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discounted at any time without prior notice. 

2. Bookings & Payments

  • A signed agreement and a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking.
  • Full payment is due by the date specified in your agreement or prior to delivery of final media.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice unless locked in by signed contract. 

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. 
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees. 
  • If Speaks Imagery is unable to fulfill services due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement or refund any applicable payments. 

4. Intellectual Property 

All videos, images, and content created by Speaks Imagery are protected under copyright law. We retain the rights to use any footage for promotional purposes (e.g., portfolio, website, social media), unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by client. Clients may obtain media for personal or business use depending on the project scope but may not alter, resell, or reproduce the content for commercial gain without written permission. 

5. Client Responsibilities 

Clients must provide accurate information, timely responses, and access to locations or events as agreed upon. Delays or failure to provide necessary access may affect the quality or delivery of the final product. 

6. Website Use 

All content on our website including text, images, logos, and videos is the property of Speaks Imagery and may not be copied, distributed, or used without permission. 

7. Limitation of Liability 

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services. While we take care to protect and deliver your content, we are not responsible for events beyond our control (e.g., equipment failure, weather conditions, or data loss). 

8. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. 

Return and Refund Policy

Speaks Imagery takes pride in providing high-quality, customized cinematography and video production services. Because each project is tailored to our client's unique needs, we have the following return and refund guidelines in place.  

1. Non-Refundable Services

Due to the personalized nature of our services, all completed work including but not limited to filmed footage, edits, and final videos is non-refundable once delivered. 

2. Deposits 

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • This deposit covers time spent planning, reserving your event date, and initial administrative work. 
  • Cancellations made after payments of the deposit will not be eligible for a refund. 

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel your session or event, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.
  • In the event of cancellation, any additional payments beyond the deposits may be refunded only if the work has not yet begun. 
  • Rescheduling is allowed based on your availability. If we are unavailable on the rescheduled date, the deposit may be forfeited. 

4. Project Dissatisfaction

We aim to deliver work that exceeds expectations. If you are dissatisfied with the final product, we offer one complimentary round of revisions (as outlined in your service agreement). Additional revisions may incur extra charges. Refunds will not be granted for dissatisfaction with creative direction after filming and editing is complete, unless an error was made on our part that violated the agreed-upon contract. 

5. Service Non-Delivery

If Speaks Imagery fails to deliver the agreed service due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency, or equipment failure), and a substitute service or date cannot be arranged, a full or partial refund may be issued at our discretion.
